Mb's Treasurista January DT Project
Hi my crafty addicts...
I have been contemplating for a couple of weeks as to what I wanted to do for my January DT Exclusive project for MB's Treasurista and I finally came up with a great concept. I wanted to design something different yet fun and simple to make. I basically wanted to make something you can put on your desktop and just get inspiration from as well as, be functional. I designed a trim/lace/ribbon holder with a Sewing theme. I decided I wanted to make something to hold my favorite trim from Mb's Treasurista.
Here is what I came up with. For a more detailed view check back to my youtube channel within the next few days to see the uploaded video of my DT Project.

Valentine Card Blog Hop for Kids with Cancer
Hi everyone! I'm so happy you can join me for this great cause. Being that I have Leukemia myself, I wanted to give some hope and put smiles on Children's faces for Valentine's day that are struggling with Cancer just like me. No person, nor no child should have to go through this rigorous process in fighting for their life against this disease that I hope one day someone very special will find a cure for. A very talented group of ladies have created Valentine Cards for the Children at the Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami, Fl. We will be making sure every child will get a Valentine card along with Sweetheart Candies that I have purchased for every single one of them. There is nothing like putting a smile on these kids faces.

I have had a tough year battling Leukemia and I am grateful that I am ALIVE one more year and that I have the opportunity to fight this disease, as many do not!!! Today I made a LO with a picture of me, this symbolizes me fighting against Cancer...and it empowers me to continue fighting!!!
