Yes it is that time again, I was M.I.A. last challenge due to getting my life somewhat back together after some medical issues. Still not 100% but def. back to play!!! So this week the challenge on Pattie's Creations is to use some form of embossing on your card. As I just got a Big Shot for Christmas (which I am very excited for) I do not have many embossing folders, only a Halloween one (which we all know won't be good til next year) and a Valentine one which I may be saving for a later project ;). So I had a theme I wanted to go with and a perfect digital image from Pattie, so I just had to go and get a Timmy embossing folder. Which was by the way a great buy because they were already 30% off and I had an additional 30% Off, so it was a steal. Anyhow, enough about that. Hope you all come and play along with us ladies over at Pattie's Creations for this fun challenge and hope you all enjoy all the wonderful inspiration we have on all of our DT's blogs.
Don't forget if you don't have any of Pattie's images you can always check out the FREE section of the blog ;) Make sure to check out her Etsy shop as well, she has some amazing NEW Valentine Digi's up for grabs at fabulous prices.

Stay Tuned for More hops and creative inspiration coming soon!!!
I have been contemplating for a couple of weeks as to what I wanted to do for my January DT Exclusive project for MB's Treasurista and I finally came up with a great concept. I wanted to design something different yet fun and simple to make. I basically wanted to make something you can put on your desktop and just get inspiration from as well as, be functional. I designed a trim/lace/ribbon holder with a Sewing theme. I decided I wanted to make something to hold my favorite trim from Mb's Treasurista.
Here is what I came up with. For a more detailed view check back to my youtube channel within the next few days to see the uploaded video of my DT Project.
Hi everyone! I'm so happy you can join me for this great cause. Being that I have Leukemia myself, I wanted to give some hope and put smiles on Children's faces for Valentine's day that are struggling with Cancer just like me. No person, nor no child should have to go through this rigorous process in fighting for their life against this disease that I hope one day someone very special will find a cure for. A very talented group of ladies have created Valentine Cards for the Children at the Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami, Fl. We will be making sure every child will get a Valentine card along with Sweetheart Candies that I have purchased for every single one of them. There is nothing like putting a smile on these kids faces.
Anyhow we have an amazing lineup of very talented and kind ladies who have put their time, hearts, and effort in making a wonderful card for a child. Aside from the great inspiration we have amazing prizes. Here are some of our sponsors:
I am in the process of making more cards, but since I have been in an out dealing with medical problems I have only made one card as of now. Here is the one I made, I think it turned out rather adorable and very lovey dovey, of course, super cutesy!!!
Love Me paper from My Mind's Eye
Special Moments Scrapbooking Stickers
Love/Hug Foam Stickers from Stash
For those Hoppers who would like to participate and send Valentine Cards for the Children, please make sure they are for either sex boy/girl as we will not know how many of each will be in the unit towards V-day. Also, please send your cards to
6 Sherin Drive,
Newark, DE 19702
Please make sure they are delivered before Jan. 31 as we need enough time to send them out to the Hospital for the children!!!
